OUR STORY

A company cannot do all things for all people and expect to be good at any one of them.  When TRINAN began its commercial operations in 2002, our path was broad.  TRINAN cast its net wide and performed services for a variety of clients in almost every discipline of real estate including retail, office, industrial, multi-family, raw land, mixed-use, and even some residential transactions.  As our operations grew and our business expanded, it became clear that while our profitability was strong, our performance level to each client was beginning to suffer a slower growth due to a lack of focus as a firm.

The market crash of August 2008 gave pause for reflection to all businesses in the real estate and finance industry.  In time, what at first glance seemed to be a negative catastrophic event for TRINAN, actually became a catalyst for a rebirth of sorts.  The reaction of business to a market collapse will usually fall into one of two responses.  The first, and maybe the most natural, is a panic in all directions and then a complete paralyzation until the doors are forced to be closed.  The second reaction follows along the quote of Winston Churchill, "If you're going through hell, keep going."  TRINAN chose to follow this second road.  We determined through much reflection that retail real estate was not only our strength as a firm, but also our passion as individuals.  We recalibrated our corporate compass, put our heads back down, and began to fight inch by inch every single day out of that storm.

Today, TRINAN finds itself amidst a revitalization of the Phoenix Metropolitan market it serves.  Our experiences through these turbulent times have brought us to a place to better advise our clients in all things related to retail investments.  From classic issues like tenant mixes and management expenditures, to more modern issues like leveraging green energy building techniques and government credits.  We are focused on our continued evolution as a corporation and the ultimate satisfaction of the clientele we serve.
